Spanish

We live in a world where speaking one language sometimes isn’t enough. Today’s professionals need to be able to communicate on a global level. That’s why mastering Spanish could be one of the smartest moves you make. At NC State, we understand that not all students are alike. Some might want to become teachers, others have their sights set on becoming business executives or architects and want to supplement their skills with a double major or minor with a concentration in Spanish. The Spanish Program at NC State can help prepare you for many types of careers, giving you an edge in a competitive job market.

Culture

Part of the fun of learning a language is being immersed in the culture that goes with it. From on-campus social clubs to community groups, we make it easy for students to get to know their classmates and the world around them.

Popular on-campus groups include VOLAR (VOLuntarios Ahora en Raleigh) and the Spanish Club at NC State. You may also be interested in community organizations such as El Pueblo or the NC Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
