Our Program is Diverse
We offer courses in 14 different languages--Arabic, Ancient Greek, Chinese, English as a Foreign Language, French, German, Hindi-Urdu, Italian, Japanese, Latin, Persian, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish--Search the Course Catalog to see a full course listing. We offer a major with six different language concentration options, more than 10 minors, an MA in Foreign Languages and Literatures (tracks in French, Spanish and TESOL), and specialized certifications. And that's not even counting the specialized courses on topics from business Spanish to world literature to Hindi. Begin with the FL* 101 course if you haven't studied the language before. If you would like to continue with a language you have previously studied take the placement test.
