Opening Doors for Minorities in the NC Legal Community

Drawing from her own past, alumna Sharita Whitaker (B.A. Communication, summa cum laude 2007) works to open doors for minorities in North Carolina’s legal community. She also chairs the NC Bar Association’s Minorities in the Profession Committee, through which she's introducing African American, Latino, Asian and other minority students to the legal profession and showing them how they can make a difference.
