German Minor

Smart students realize the importance of choosing the right major for their future career. Even smarter students realize the importance of choosing a minor. When you supplement your degree with a foreign language, you’re telling future employers that you can navigate other countries and cultures in addition to your own; you’ve widened the playing field.

To earn a German minor, you must complete 15 credit hours. You can find the requirements at the following link:

Admissions

Application for admission to any university minor program is now available via MyPack Portal. Admission will be based on the student’s academic record, and in most cases no longer requires departmental review. Learn more about how to add a minor.

Students should meet with Dr. Lutz Kube, your future German minor adviser, to develop a plan of study that indicates your required courses and expected dates of completion.

Certification

The minor must be completed no later than the semester in which the student expects to graduate from his or her degree program. Please meet with Director of Undergraduate Advising Susan Navey-Davis if you have any questions.
